Colors, textures, yarn, and buttons! Led by teaching artist Kenard Smith Jr. this textile-based sensory playgroup is designed for children of ages 0-4 and their caregivers. Students will explore age-appropriate elements of sewing and weaving, engage in imaginative play with different textiles, and engage in multi sensory play experiences. Activities that engage both fine and gross motor development will be enjoyed in an interactive, safe, and encouraging atmosphere.
With support from the MA Community Empowerment and Reinvestment Program and Urban Agenda, all Learning Lab classes are free to participants this session!
