Creative Care is The Cordial Eye’s arts-therapy-informed program for youth ages 9-13. This mentorship-based program combines the power of the arts and peer connection to help kids become more resilient.

Girls: Fiber Arts Exploration

7/19-8/2 (3 weeks), Sat, 12pm-2pm, Ages 9-13, Free!

Students will explore a variety of fiber arts including: Finger Knitting, Crochet,Weaving, Embroidery, Punch Needle, and Needle Felting. Students will focus on learning new skills, using new tools, and trying a new craft with friends! Allsupplies will be provided.

Non-Binary/Trans Kids- Junk Journaling

7/12-26 (3 Weeks), Sat, 1-3pm, Ages 9-13, Free!

Students will create a junk journal using recycled materials, learning basic bookbinding techniques and creative upcycling.Junk journaling is a creative practice of collecting and pasting everyday items into a handmade notebook to preserve memories and ideas. The journals are often made from recycled materials like newspapers, fabric scraps, and old tickets, and can be decorated like a scrapbook or collage.

Boys Movement and Art- Exploring Archetypes

6/30-7/21 (4 weeks), Mon, 10-11:30am, Ages 9-13, Free!

Students will use movement and visual art to explore different popular male identities, including the Warrior, the King, and the Magician, as well as their own sense of self identity
