Ages 16+, $10/workshop, $25/all 3, ages 15+, Mondays, 5:30pm-8pm
Take just one, or join all three of these workshops with designer and educator, Aiste Zitnikaite, of Devinto Design! Sewing machines can be provided for up to 6 students.
6/16: Demystifying the Sewing Machine- an introductory course on how sewing machines work, basics on thread and needle sizes, and understanding the function of different stitches
7/7: Alterations- Participants are welcomed to bring in items from home in need of alternations. Topics to cover will include hemming, hole repair, waistband adjustments, and more!
7/28: Upcycled Fashion: Participants will bring a few old t-shirts and leave with a totally new, unique item of upcycled clothing!
