Look closer and create your own tiny world out of everyday refuse. Find something in our junk stash or bring your own! Little boxes, bits of paper, washi tape, wine corks, something that you looked at that one time and thought, “This could totally be a ____!”. Dani likes to use scrap paper, fabrics, vintage beads, wood cuttings, random bits and bobs, broken jewelry, cardboard, and so, so much hot glue. The fun is in the foraging! Learn to use your imagination and recycled materials to craft miniature scenes and objects. Whether you’re a Crafty QueenTM, or new to the scene, you will leave this class with something small-scale to pop on your shelf or stick on the fridge (yes we have magnets)!
Teaching artist Dani Flowers has been sculpting DIY miniature novelties and dioramas using found items, vintage crafts supplies, and a ridicuous amount of hot glue and wants to share the joy of their personal craft with you.
